Corrections policy
Accuracy matters more than defending an earlier conclusion. Substantive changes will be disclosed, dated, and kept with the affected record.
What will be corrected
Corrections may address quotations, dates, links, factual descriptions, missing context, characterizations of evidence, or a finding that is no longer supported. Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting fixes that do not change meaning may be made without a correction note.
How corrections appear
A material correction will identify what changed and when. If new evidence changes the conclusion, the entry’s label and explanation will be updated and the earlier finding will be acknowledged rather than silently erased.
Requesting review
A person or organization seeking a correction should identify the specific entry and disputed language, explain the requested change, and provide primary documentation where available. A dedicated editorial contact channel will be posted on the Contact page once activated.
Review process
Requests are evaluated against the same evidence standard used for publication. Submitting a request does not guarantee a change, but relevant evidence will be reviewed in good faith. No fee or favorable treatment is accepted for corrections.
